Make a list of your positive qualities. People with low self-esteem typically fixate on their negative qualities and ignore positive ones. You need to constantly remind yourself of all your assets, it will make you feel good about yourself. The list of your assets can include your personality traits, skills, talents, experiences, achievements etc.

Be your own cheerleader. Everyone needs a support system, but your family and friends will never convince you that you can do something unless you believe in it yourself. Replace your inner critic with an inner cheerleader and focus on positive thought instead of negative ones.

Overcome your perfectionism. No one is perfect, get over it. Perfectionists either are too afraid to start new things or can't finish what they've started. They are rarely satisfied with their own performance, which makes their self-esteem sink. Don't go for perfect, go for good enough. And make sure your expectations are realistic.

Take care of your needs. Low self-esteem may result in self-neglect. It is very important to take care of your needs. Make sure you get enough sleep, take care of your personal hygiene, eat healthy and nutritious food, spend enough time outdoors, engage in regular physical activity, etc.
