  • 1 bottle red wine
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbs sugar
  • 6 cloves

  • 2 cinnamon sticks

Boil water. Then add cloves and nutmeg and simmer for 1 min. Put sugar into the wine and simmer. Add water with spices and stir. Leave it for some time and strain. Pour mulled wine into glasses and serve. You can also garnish your drink with a slice of lemon.

Mulled Wine With Orange Juice Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle red wine
  • 3 cups apple cider
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 orange juice and zest
  • 3 star anise
  • 3 cloves
  • 3 oranges

Put apple cider, honey, wine, cinnamon sticks, orange juice and zest, star anise, and cloves into a saucepan, stir and simmer over low heat for 8-10 min. Pour mulled wine into glasses, garnish with orange peel and serve.
