The inaugural Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair was held in 1983. For the first decade of its existence, the fair was held once a year, but the ever-increasing attendance prompted the organizers to make it a biannual event held in February and September. Today, it is one of the most renowned gems and jewelry trade fairs in the industry, both in the region and in the world.
The trade fair is organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion under the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand. One of its main goals is to build the competitiveness of Thai manufacturers and exporters to fulfill their potential. However, the event doesn’t only feature local exhibitors, but also key players in the global gems and jewelry industry. Since its inception, it has become an important trading and networking platform with international coverage.
The Bangkok Gems & Jewelry Fair is an internationally renowned marketplace for a wide range of innovative designs and products of the finest quality.
