Each year, the Chocolate Show in London brings together British and international brands as well as renowned cocoa experts, chefs and artisans. The Chocolate Theater is one of the show’s main attractions. Here, top chocolatiers and pastry chefs from different countries treat visitors with live demonstrations of the art and craft of chocolate making. They share useful tips and techniques for you to try at home and teach visitors how to create their own chocolate delights. The live demonstrations do not require additional admittance fees, they are open to all visitors on a first-come, first-served basis.
The show’s philosophy and motto is “To understand the chocolate is to love it”. All attendees who want to understand and learn to appreciate the subtleties of chocolate are welcome to visit the Tasting Room where they can participate in talks and tastings held by experts. While the Tasting Room is designed for adults, the show’s Chocolate Club hosts fun and educational culinary activities for children. Here budding chefs and culinary artists can master their skills and have lots of fun.
Every year, the Salon du Chocolat London hosts the Chocolate Fashion Show. It brings together fashion designers and chocolatiers who collaborate to create stunning couture dresses inspired by and made from chocolate. The outfits are presented during the Gala Evening and at daily runway shows. They are also displayed at a dedicated exhibition throughout the festival.
