Qatar Motor Show
The Qatar Motor Show is considered to be one of the most important consumer events in Qatar, as well as one of the leading automotive exhibitions in the Middle East. The event takes place every year at the Doha Exhibition Center, a multipurpose venue with an area of 47,700 square meters, located in the heart of Doha’s business district.

The Qatar Motor Show is organized by Fira Quatar and Qatar Tourism Authority, and is held under the patronage of Prime Minister Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani. Fira Qatar is the partnership of two international leaders, Fira de Barcelona and ELAN Group, that has a growing portfolio of exhibitions and trade fairs. Qatar Tourism Authority was created to promote Qatar as a tourist destination and a place where cultural authenticity meets modernity.

Founded in 2011 as a local event, the Qatar Motor Show has evolved into one of the largest trade exhibitions and leading motor shows in the Persian Gulf region. The event serves as a platform where international brands and their local agents can meet consumers and potential customers from the Persian Gulf region.

The Qatar Motor Show draws between 50,000 and 120,000 visitors every year, introducing them to the latest technology, innovation and performance trends from the global automotive scene. It features new models by leading car manufacturers from around the world, as well as concept cars, supercars, and custom cars. In addition, its program includes test driving, outdoor motocross and drifting demonstrations, unique showcases, and other exciting activities.

Manufacturers, brands and retailers perceive the Quatar Motor Show as the ideal platform to host exclusive regional reveals. In order to raise the profile of the show on the international calendar of automotive events, its dates were shifted to October in 2018 to enable brands showcase their new models for the first time in the region.
