Wedding Expos Australia have been held annually since 2005. The idea behind these bridal expos is to connect happy couples, their wedding parties, families and friends with local wedding vendors and suppliers. Vendors get to showcase their products and services, whereas couples planning a wedding get access to sources of inspiration, samples, tastings, free offers, and exclusive deals. It’s a win-win for everyone!
Each wedding expo features hand-picked local vendors and wedding professionals: wedding planners, florists, stylists, photographers and videographers, celebrants, health and fitness experts, DJs, and more. Although there are a handful of national exhibitors that participate in multiple wedding expos, each event has a unique set of vendors with a focus on local wedding businesses. Depending on their location and venue, Wedding Expo Australia events can range in size from 80 to 200 exhibitors.
Wedding gowns and bridal party dresses, men’s suits for grooms and groomsmen, shoes, jewelry, makeup, wedding cars, wedding invitations, wedding cakes and candy buffets – whatever you might need for your wedding, hen & stag parties, and honeymoon, you will find it here. Many exhibitors offer free samples, and some have products that can be purchased at the event. In addition to vendors, wedding expos also feature food outlets and live entertainment.
Admission to all Wedding Expos Australia is free, but you need to register for tickets; the first 500 couples to register for tickets receive a free “I’m Getting Married” gift bag full of goodies, freebies, and discounts. Keep in mind that there is a limited stock of iconic gift bags at each expo. Each expo also has a limited amount of VIP Tickets that attendees can purchase for additional benefits such fast-tracked priority access, a personalized robe or pajamas, an exclusive glitter sash, and a reserved “I’m Getting Married” bag.
Wedding expos are held in all Australian states except for Tasmania: New South Wales (Parramatta, Sydney, Castle Hill, Wollongong, Newcastle), Queensland (Brisbane), Victoria (Melbourne), South Australia (Adelaide), and Western Australia (Perth). In 2024, the event expanded to New Zealand and was held in Auckland for the first time. Every year, over a dozen wedding expos are attended by more than 70,000 visitors.
