State Executive Service Day in Ukraine Date in the current year: December 17, 2024

The State Executive Service is the department of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. It is responsible for executing the decisions of courts, courts of arbitration, and other judicial bodies in accordance with the current legislation. The tasks of the State Executive Service and the legal status of its bodies and employees are determined by the Laws “On the State Executive Service” and “On Executive Proceedings”.

However, the State Executive Service of Ukraine might cease to exist. After the 2014 Revolution in Ukraine, the new Minister of Justice Pavlo Petrenko informed about his plans to close the State Executive Service and replace it with individual administrators over government functions. At the same time, he noted that the reform itself would take at least a couple of years to be fully implemented. So State Executive Service Day is celebrated for the time being.
