Day of Military Commissariat Employees April 8 is annual celebration of Day of Military Commissariat Employees in the Russian Federation and in the Republic of Belarus.

Day of Military Commissariat Employees is a professional holiday of all people, who work in military commissariats. During the Soviet Union, military commissariat was a local military administrative agency, that prepared and executed plans for military mobilization, held records of military manpower and economic resources available to the armed forces. It provided preliminary training and drafted men for military service. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the institution didn't cease to exist and this system is currently used by the governments of the former USSR countries.

The date of the holiday was chosen April 8 in order to commemorate adoption of the decree on the establishment of military commissariats by the Council of People's Commissars in 1918. During the next year about 7,000 township, 385 county and 39 provincial and 7 district commissioners were established on the basis of that decree.

Day of Military Commissariat Employees is observed in Russia and Belarus. President of Russia established this holiday by Presidential Decree in 2006. Belarusian Ministry of Defense established this holiday in 2003.
