BAROMETER International Bar Show is an annual event in the bar industry held in the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv. It was founded by Andrey Skipyan and is organized by HOTELIERO® Hoteliers and Restaurateurs Club, whose other projects include Creative Chefs Summit, National SALT® Restaurant Awards, and Ukrainian Hospitality Awards.

The inaugural BAROMETER International Bar Show was held in 2016. It is recognized as the largest bar festival in Eastern Europe. The event is designed for bartenders, bar managers, bar and restaurant owners, as well as alcohol manufacturers and distributors. However, it is also open to the general public. BAROMETER is a meeting place for professionals and consumers where everyone is welcome.

Every year, BAROMETER welcomes about two dozen bars from different countries. For example, the 2017 edition featured participants from Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Israel, France, Norway, and even the United States. Alongside bars, the festival participants include alcohol manufacturers and professional speakers from around the world.

One of BAROMETER’s main attractions is unique cocktails that are created and mixed by the participants exclusively for the festival’s Bar Show. The festival programming also includes lectures, workshops and tastings presented by international experts, an exhibition area featuring the leading manufactures of bar utensils and equipment, and DJ sets all day long. At the food court, Kyiv’s best restaurants offer special dishes to go with the unique cocktails.

BAROMETER International Bar Show takes place at the Parkovy Congress and Exhibition Center and draws between 12,000 and 20,000 people over three days. Everyone is welcome to attend as long as they are of legal drinking age (which is 18 in Ukraine).
