WHITE SQUARE is organized by the Association of Communications and Marketing Agencies of Belarus (ACMA) and managed by communications agency White Karrrona. The festival has been acknowledged by the Gunn Report, an annual publication identifying and detailing the most awarded work within the advertising industry, as one of the largest events of its kind in Eastern Europe.
WHITE SQUARE is a business oriented-event that helps creative individuals turn their creativity into a source of income, rather than seek income to fund their creative projects. The program of the festival consists of two main parts: an advertising contest and a business forum dedicated to the latest innovations in the marketing and communications industry, where international specialists share their advanced experience.
The competition has several categories: Creativity (Film, Print, Radio & Audio, Outdoor, Integrated, Branded Content & Entertainment), Branding (Communication Design, Packaging Design, Digital Design), Marketing (Promo & Activation, PR, Direct, Media, Innovations), Creative Effectiveness, Digital (Digital, Mobile, Creative Data), and Social Ad. The winners in each category are selected by international juries made up of advertising and marketing professionals.
The business forum program includes talks, lectures, workshops, panel discussions, blitz presentations, reports on anything and everything related to the advertising and marketing industry with a focus on innovations and major industrial trends. WHITE SQUARE’s business forum provides plenty of opportunities to network and exchange ideas and experiences with foreign colleagues.
In 2020, the event was held online due to the coronavirus pandemic.
