In a large bowl, combine 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup milk, 1 egg, 1 tsp melted butter, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper. Stir until smooth. Mix in 1 cup chopped raw cauliflower, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, and 1/2 cup finely chopped onion. Drop by spoonfuls into hot oil and fry till crispy and brown.
