Economist Day in Belarus Date in the current year: June 30, 2024

In the beginning of the 20th century, the Soviet administration created the State Planning Committee for central economic planning in Belarus. This event took place on June 30, 1921. This institution existed till 1991, when the Soviet Union collapsed. Now the functions of this committee are executed by the Ministry of Economy.
