Administrators’ Day in Brazil Date in the current year: September 9, 2024
On September 9, 1965 the Government of Brazil adopted a law regulating the activity of professional administrators and managers. This resulted in the creation of the Federal Council of Administration (Conselho Federal de Administração) and Regional Councils of Administration (Conselhos Regionais de Administração). Administrators’ Day was created to commemorate this event.
The Federal Council of Administration (CFA) is a federal body that regulates the activity of administrative professionals in Brazil. Its main goal is to raise awareness of the importance of an adequate understanding of administrative problems and their rational solution, as well as to improve professional training and ensure the competence of administrators and managers at all levels, regardless of their place of employment.
Administrators’ Day was created to emphasize the contribution of people who make responsible decisions and solve problems in public and private organizations on a daily basis.
