International Sculpture Day International Sculpture Day is an annual celebration established by the International Sculpture Center in 2015. It was created to raise awareness of sculpture as a form of art and help people learn more about famous sculpture masterpieces.

The International Sculpture Center was founded in 1960 at the University of Kansas, but it is currently based in New Jersey. It is a non-profit organization that aims to advance the creation and understanding of sculpture, as well as raise appreciation of its vital contribution to society. The center organizes various events and presents several awards.

The inaugural International Sculpture Day was celebrated on April 24, 2015. There were 12 participating countries, including Australia, Austria, Canada, China, Germany, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland, the UK, and the United States. They hosted over 50 events. The next year, more countries joined the celebration, including Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Croatia, Denmark, France, Mexico, Nigeria, and Poland. In the holiday's second year, over 200 events took place around the world.
