Delicious and ripe strawberry ripen the first every year. They are often called the “taste of spring”, that is why it's a high time to remember about fresh strawberries and enjoy them.

Strawberries appeared in America in the mid of 1700s when they were brought as a gift from Chile. The plant seems not hard to be grown, that is why it can flourish anywhere in the world. And if you want to grown strawberries in your garden, make sure the plants have enough of full sun and grow in a sandy soil. Keep your dog away from strawberries, otherwise it will eat all berries before you can pick a few.

Fresh strawberries in your grocery store sometimes don't taste good, but you can use some tricks! Frozen and dried strawberries are good for desserts. Add some fresh strawberries to milkshake, yogurt, smoothie or just serve them with whipped cream. So don't get upset if you couldn't buy really good strawberries.
