Crown Princess Victoria was born on July 14, 1977 and she is the eldest child of King Carl XVI Gustaf. She is expected to ascend the throne, and if it happens, she will be the fourth queen regnant of Sweden.

Victoria was born as Princess of Sweden, but she was designated a Crown Princess ahead of her younger brother due to the Act of Succession passed on January 1, 1980. Today Crown Princess Victoria is one of only three female heirs apparent in the world. The other two are her goddaughters Catharina-Amalia, Princess of Orange and Princess Elisabeth, Duchess of Brabant.

Victoria is a working member of the Swedish Royal Family and she has got her own official engagements and agenda. She attends Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs and steps in a temporary regent, when needed. She takes part in opening celebrations of the Swedish National Day day and annual festivities of Nobel Prize.

Victoria is married to Daniel Collert. The official ceremony with more than 1,200 guests took place on June 16, 2010. On 23 February, 2012, Victoria gave birth to Princess Estelle, Duchess of Östergötland.
