Customs Officers' Day in Kyrgyzstan Customs Officers' Day, also known as Customs Day, is an official professional holiday in Kyrgyzstan celebrated on December 31. It was established by the government of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2006 and has been celebrated annually ever since.

The date of the holiday was chosen to commemorate the anniversary of the decree “On the Formation of the State Customs Inspectorate of the Kyrgyz Republic” that was issued on December 31, 1991. This decree laid the foundation of the customs policy of Kyrgyzstan. Customs Officers' Day was established to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the Kyrgyz Customs and to ensure the continuity of the traditions of the country's customs service.

Just like other professional holidays in Kyrgyzstan, Customs Officer's Day is a working holiday. On this day, Kyrgyz customs officers are congratulated by government officials, their superiors, family, and friends. Some of them are honored with special awards and prizes for their hard work, dedication, and professional accomplishments.
