The tradition to observe Father's Day origins in the USA, when the holiday was introduced in 1910 by Sonora Smart Dodd. Later countries around the world adopted the observation.
Sweden, Finland and Estonia have mass celebration of the holiday. Schools and kindergartens organize festive events and children prepare concerts for their parents, especially for fathers. Teachers prepare special Father's Day lessons with different activities to teach children the importance of the role fathers play in every family.
Merry events that involve fathers and their children are traditional for many cities. These can be sports competitions, presentations of man's jobs etc.Remind me with Google Calendar
