Taste of Moscow is considered one of the best food festivals in the capital of Russia. It’s a unique event where foodies get a chance to sample signature dishes from Moscow’s most exciting restaurants. Like all Taste Festivals, it is an open air event. The festvial is held at the Luzniki Stadium located right below the Sparrow Hills (Vorobyovy Gory), across the Moskva River.
Each installment of Taste of Moscow features twenty restaurants that treat attendees to sample-sized portions of their signature dishes. In addition, over 60 top restaurant chefs from Russia and abroad conduct live culinary sessions and workshops, cooking exclusive dishes and sharing some of their secrets with the audience.
Of course, restaurants and chefs aren’t everything that Taste of Moscow has to offer. The festival’s program includes a wide range of activities, from wine and food pairings and craft beer tastings, to live entertainment and special activities for children.
Some of the festival’s most exiting activities and zones include: Kid’s Zone with interactive activities for children; Wine & Spirits Academy presenting tastings and workshops from the best producers of wines and distilled spirits; LifeStyle Area with open-air activities; and Main Stage with non-stop live entertainment (live music, DJ sets, fashion shows, dance and theater performances).
If you don’t want to leave Taste of Moscow empty handed, check out the festival’s Gourmet Market. It has over 150 exhibitors offering exclusive products and premium services by some of the best gastronomic brands. Here you can find high-quality chocolate, premium tea and coffee, pastries and sweets, cheeses, frozen yogurt, wine and beer, and more.
