International Day of Happiness Date in the current year: March 20, 2025

International Day of Happiness was created to promote different events aimed to ensure economic growth and country development, poverty eradication, happiness and well-being of all peoples. This day should be observed in an appropriate manner by member states of the United Nations System, international and regional organizations, by society, including non-governmental organizations and all individuals.

The General Assembly highlighted, that pursuit to happiness is a fundamental goal of humanity. Recognizing this, governmental and non-governmental organizations should participate in the celebration and organize different activities and events. Every organization has its own event, that can be offering a free book, sharing a video, that promotes happiness and smiles around the world, free graphics and even choosing an action that makes one happy and continue developing it over the coming year.
