Engineer's Day in Costa Rica Date in the current year: July 20, 2024

The Pan American Union of Engineering Association (UPADI) was created to unite all Latin American engineers and make link between all Latin countries. Even after 61 years of its existence the association continues leading the development of Pan American engineering, keeping in regard the issues of environmental protection, economic growth and technology transfer among the countries. UPADI has become a point, where all engineers of the South American continent meet to discuss the concepts of ethics, transparency, gender equality and professional achievements.

All engineering organizations of Costa Rica celebrate this special day to highlight the importance of this profession and raise its value for the public. This holiday also attracts young people encouraging them to choose engineering as their profession. Many large scale events scatter across Costa Rica, including interesting lectures presenting the field of engineering. UPADI also invites all organizations to share these activities to celebrate Engineer's Day.
