Engineer’s Day in Belgium and the Netherlands Date in the current year: March 20, 2024

Belgium can't boast a great number of engineers, however, they have invented important things, that we can't imagine our life without. Just think about tram, jpeg, asphalt and mercator projection. If it's not enough, than think about forceps! All these things are very important in our everyday life, aren't they?

Regarding this, USG Engineering has started celebration of Engineer's Day in Belgium, that was inspired by the Dutch tradition. This is not a mere party or festive event, this is a special meeting of all engineers, technical bachelors and of all people sharing alike experience and who would like to find a job. All engineers are welcomed to participate, it's free and it's fun!

USG Engineering is also responsible for motivation of other Belgian companies to organize a special day for their employed engineers. The celebration may be as simple as a free breakfast or become a full scale team building event.

Engineer's Day in the Netherlands is organized for the members of the Royal Institute of Engineers (KIVI). One of the most important events of this holiday is revealing the name of the Engineer of Year.
