Teachers' Day in Laos Date in the current year: October 7, 2024
Teachers and students in Laos annually observe Teachers' Day on October 7. This is a national holiday and different celebrations are organized across the country.The most creative and cheerful celebrations are held in nursery schools, where children take part in performances to show the teachers their respect and love. Some schools held activities, when students ask for apologies for what they've done wrong. All activities, whether they are organized in primary or secondary schools, in colleges or universities are cheerful. Students give presents to their teachers and good wishes.
The government of Laos foresees no day off and celebration of Teachers' Day is rather simple. However, students are reminded about the important role of the teachers in their lives.
