Day of Workers of Culture and Art in Turkmenistan Date in the current year: June 27, 2024

Day of Workers of Culture and Art focuses on honoring the country's workers of culture and art and recognizing their contribution to the spiritual development of Turkmen society. It also aims at promoting the cultural heritage of Turkmenistan.

This day brings together all the people whose work is somehow linked to art and culture as well as art amateurs. They are congratulated by head of state who thanks them for their contribution to the enrichment, enhancement and promotion of national culture.

Day of Workers of Culture and Art is marked by numerous events and activities held throughout an entire week called the Week of Culture. These events include (but are not limited to) concerts, fairs, theater performances, awards ceremonies, workshops, exhibitions etc.
