Standardization and Metrology Employees Day in Kyrgyzstan Date in the current year: October 24, 2024

Standardization and Metrology Employees Day was established in Kyrgyzstan by a corresponding governmental decree on October 1, 1996. The date of this observance was chosen to celebrate the founding anniversary of national standardization and metrology in 1927. The National Institute for Standards and Metrology of the Kyrgyz Republic "Kyrgyzstandard" became the main national authority of this field.
