Lawyer's Day in Kyrgyzstan Date in the current year: June 30, 2024

Profession of a lawyer is highly demanded and well paid in Kyrgyzstan. The best universities of the country have faculties of science of law. Annually hundreds of alumni obtain the degree in science of law and become lawyers.

The Association of Lawyers of Kyrgyzstan is the main public organization, that unites legal experts, scientists, governmental figures and activists. This association was created under initiative of citizens of Kyrgyzstan, uniting its members on the basis of common interests pursuing common goals and objectives. Nowadays the association comprises 200 lawyers, which is about 70% of the lawyers in the capital of Kyrgyzstan.

A traditional award ceremony is held on Lawyer's Day in Kyrgyzstan. The best experts in the field of science of law are awarded with special prizes. Other different events relating celebration of this professional holiday follow the ceremony.
