Builders' Day in Azerbaijan Builders' Day is an annual professional holiday in the Republic of Azerbaijan that honors the country's professionals employed in the building construction. It is celebrated on April 10.

Builders' Day was established in 2009 by President Ilham Aliyev to acknowledge the contribution of the construction workers to the country's economy. The respective presidential decree was signed on December 17, 2009. The first celebration of the new professional holiday took place on April 10, 2010. Builders' Day in Azerbaijan is a working day, unless it falls on a weekend.

Azerbaijan is one of the few post-Soviet countries that has its own Builders' Day. Many countries celebrate this holiday on the second Sunday in August since Builders' Day used to be celebrated on this date in the Soviet Union. After the dissolution of the USSR, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan continued to celebrate this professional holiday in August, while the government of Azerbaijan preferred to choose a new date.
