Youth Day in Azerbaijan Date in the current year: February 2, 2024

Azerbaijani Ministry of Youth and Sports and the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan initiated the conduction of the First Forum. More than 2,000 representatives of various youth organizations participated the forum. At present about 200 youth organizations operate in the country. They cover different issues, such as raising of patriotic spirit in education, reducing of unemployment, health, education and active civil position of the youth, promotion of culture among young people etc.

Organization and conduction of the First Forum of Azerbaijani Youth was a major step towards the implementation of effective cooperation between numerous youth organizations and the state. Consequently the president of Azerbaijan signed the decree establishing February 2 as Youth Day in Azerbaijan.
