Customs Service Worker's Day in Moldova Customs Service Worker's Day is a professional day in the Republic of Moldova. This day was established by presidential decree in 1995 to commemorate the anniversary of creation of the Customs Service in independent Moldova in 1991.

The Customs Service in Moldova was created on September 4, 1991 promptly after proclamation of its independence. In 1994 the Moldovan Customs Service became a member of the World Customs Organization (WCO), that works in areas covering the development of international conventions, instruments and tools on topics of classification, valuation, collection of customs revenue, international trade facilitation etc. Present-day Moldovan Customs Service conforms to all standards and requirements of the WCO.

The Moldovan Customs Service is the central administrative body, that provides economic security of the country and carries out customs policy of the state. It also supervises the activity of all customs agencies across the county.
